Apparently, Cali...Just a brief note on Kallikottai. Apparently, Calicut was called Kakkikotai in Tamil. It is, therefore, probable that the Dindigul forces called it by its Tamil name. I remember there was a two storied structure called 'Kallikottai building' on Kallai Road some sixty years ago. The building housed the Kallikottai Chit Funds.
